New Bestiary from my Home Campaign: Keepers of Lingusia

Post by Camazotz »

Hey all! I have been working on coverting my Keepers of Lingusia campaign setting from D20 over to Castles & Crusades (Lingusia started with basic D&D and moved to 1st and 2nd edition AD&D, so C&C is a better overall fit for the world than D20 is; My Realms of Chirak setting is more "D20" friendly). So, interested parties are welcome to partake of these beasties in their own campaigns!

The link is in the opening update; Angelfire is apparently picky about a direct link (sigh) !

Wow, very nice. Dark and creepy. Some of the monsters look like stuff I'd see in Diablo!
Artwork is great to go along with the monsters. That troll queen picture looks totally H.R. Geiger! Is it?

Very cool stuff!

Nice monsters, Some look to be very deadly, the least of which is the death knights. I also like how you kept the demons/devils from being cookie cutter by allowing the CK to choose immunities and such. Keeps them from being completely predictable by anyone.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

Hey, thanks for the comments! Yeah, that's a Giger piece I used to reflect the Thargon Trolls; I've had this portfolio of Giger work for years that I used to illustrate those trolls whenever my game group would run in to them. A major story arc involved freeing an elvish queen from the Troll Queen herself, and sieging the city of Hoggoth, capitol of the trolls, to do so....was a lot of fun.

Sorry if it crashes, not sure why....it's in a doc format for Word, I'll try posting it as a PDF as well, maybe that will help.

Yeah, I could never figure out why creatures of chaos would be so consistent....I've always imagined a chaotic horde of demons as being inherently inconsistent
