Tornadoes in Arkansas

Post by finarvyn »

I wasn't sure where to put this, but....

...apparently yesterday there were quite a few tornadoes that hit Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas. One tornado damage path was quoted as being roughly 95 miles long and looked like it was pretty darned close to Little Rock. (Hard to judge distances on those Weather Channel maps.)

I hope the Troll Lords and their families are all okay!

The tornadoes were west and north of Little Rock proper. Some places are referring to the areas as "suburbs" of Little Rock, but that isn't really true. They are 10-15 miles away. At last count, there were 16 deaths in Arkansas, mainly in the towns of Vilonia and Mayflower. Happy to report all us Trolls are still standing upright, but the 16 deaths are pretty sad.

Glad to hear that you guys are okay. Living in caves helps. Sad about the other folks.

I just hear on the radio that the 16 deaths were a miss count. 2 people were counted twice, so the right count is 14 ... Still sad, but every life is precious ...
