Star Frontiers magazine Star Frotniersman is now up...

Post by Treebore »

to 24 issues. Last time I looked at the main website they were under 10 issues. Glad to see its keeping up steam supporting the "old" game!

The current "original" site:

http://www.starfrontiers.com/
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

I keep hoping 2014 will bring news on FrontierSpace from DwD Studios (Barebones Fantasy, Covert Ops).

I'll have to look at this outside of the office. I ran my older son (11) through an adventure last year and we had a blast. He's since played some Star Wars d6 RPG with friends and me in addition to our regular C&C group. He bugs me to play SF every now and again.

I'll have to surprise him with a session.

Thanks for sharing, Tree!

I love Star Frontiers. I have the original books(even Zebs Guide) and the reprints. But no Frontiersman. Is there an article index?

Sorta. As you know, DwD derived the rules for BBFRG from SF, then went on to create Covert Ops with largely the same rules, and plan next to create a scifi game from that same set. So, full circle, sorta.

I see, but not an official license from Wotc. I still need to get all of the free SF stuff from whichever site it is. I have all of the print material, excepting the Dragon articles and some of the minis. I think I have most of them, however.

I really want to play Star Frontiers again. SF and Top Secret were probably the games I ran and played the most in my teens.
