Classic Monsters Equivalence
I think someone made a list of what monsters in Classic Monsters were renamed or reimagined from their AD&D equivalents. I can't find it. Anyone know where it might be, or if it ever existed?

You mean like the Prismal Eye to replace the beholder?
that sort of thing?
that sort of thing?

Re: Classic Monsters Equivalence
Well, I don't know if this will be a help but here is the original list of contents from Classic Monsters:

The version in print now has a bunch of these creatures with new names. I talk about that here:

While I did my review after I published these two posts, I never did get around to doing the correspondences between the new names and what they are for. If you can't find the source, hopefully the original list provided will help you track down what was what.
