Enhancing 6th printing PHB PDF
Enhancing 6th printing PHB PDF
I put hyperlinks from the spell list Spell name to the full spell description in the PDF. This really speeds up navigation when dealing with spells. One click and you go from the list entry to the full description.

I didn't do that (what you now see in new PDF) I am adding to what was done within the existing PDF we have. Thank the Trolls for what you have in your hand. Although I suggested the idea for the 6th printing when they were soliciting errata and ideas..DMSamuel wrote:I did notice that last night - stand up piece of work! Thank you!

Ah, Sorry - misunderstood. I re-read your post and now I think I understand what you mean... that is a good idea, I may do it myself.Arduin wrote:I didn't do that (what you now see in new PDF) I am adding to what was done within the existing PDF we have. Re: Enhancing 6th printing PHB PDF
It takes a couple of hours. Next (when I'm up to it) I'll link to spells from within descriptions as many spells refer to others in how they work, etc. I had all the AD&D spells done like that on a web page ~20 years ago.DMSamuel wrote:Ah, Sorry - misunderstood. I might be a little slow, but how did you hyperlink the from the spell list to the spell descriptors?

I opened the PDF in Acrobat Pro and created them. Saved PDF. Done.

Yeah, if you don't have PRO you can't do it. Of course, there are probably other read/write pdf readers out there that may do it, but I find Acrobat the best so far.
Acrobat reader is, literally, a reader, so you can't create the links/bookmarks.
