Happy to report that today I received the book portion of the Codex Nordica kickstarter! :)
I assume that the dice, poster, mug, and game portion is shipping later. Thanks.

Can't wait for the softcovers to arrive at the Troll Lord Southeast Missouri warehouse. I'm ready to unleash these on unsuspecting con-goers. :D

How about a review and a look at what lies within? How much longer until we poor unwashed masses are allowed to purchase the book?

I've heard from someone I consider reliable that the Trolls once again majorly botched the editing on this one. Figures.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Really? I thought the delay the last couple of months was because they had botched the soft cover that went out to some of us kickstarter buyers?

I've been reading bits and peices of Codex Nordica all weekend. It looks pretty dang good so far. I'm excited because this information will fit nicely into any Eastmark/Yggsburgh campaign I run.

That is what we were told. Maybe my friend is blowing it out of proportion because he sprung for a leather version.

I read it over thoroughly since the second editing pass and they did an amazing job! I haven't found any errors personally but there maybe a few minor ones in places that I overlooked that somehow managed to slip through.

All summer though I have been going over it and have found nothing wrong in my text and have been quite pleased so you should be too!

Yeah, I didn't see any glaring typos or anything like that. I didn't give it a fine going over, but I think the 2nd edit did a good job.

A few months back, I had a chance to review the text before the PDF and early bird softcovers were sent out. You can read about it here:

There was a couple issues I brought to their attention and I believe others did as well when the early bird softcovers were being sent out. I distinctly remember one issue being the HD to one of the classes which had the same sort of problem that the Rune Mark in Rune Lore currently enjoys. Fortunately, that little ambiguity was one of the things corrected.

Wow, that looks absolutely lovely. I love my plain jane copy of the Codex, but that's really something.

Also, hi guys, it's been a while.

Got it looks good. On the "King's Table" game, I bought a similar thing in about 2000 when the viking Smithsonian exhibit toured the US. Keep in mind the game was designed to be played by evenly skilled opponents and by grandpa against kid... so there rules have many options that can be added and subtracted to make a fun match for all opponents. If anyone wants the rules set I have, I'd be happy to add to this forum.
Wow, Another Natural One! You guys are a sink hole for luck. Stay away from my dice.

Sweet. I received my swag today too. I left it all out on my desk at work and challenged all who asked me what that stuff was to a game of King's Table! There were no takers. Possibly because I shouted like a viking madman whenever I issued a challenge.
