Request... My Old Stuff

Post by serleran »

Does anyone have the material I once posted as the user "voynich," specifically the class creation rules?

Probably, but not on my current computer, I'll have to go check my file folders on my previous two computers, which both still work.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

So far I have only found the Classless stuff you did based on Morrowind. Still have more to check.

Are they the unattributed ones from Crusaders Companion?

No, I don't have it. Maybe on some old back up CD's, but not on a functioning computer.

Unless used without my knowledge, no. But maybe? I honestly don't recall. Would have to look.

Maybe Peter made those up. I just didn't see an attribution in the OGL part.

OK, looked over the Companion. There is quite a lot of my stuff in it. I do remember saying it was cool to use so that's fine. I just did not recall if the class info was mine... and it looks like it may be inspired by that but does not appear to be the same, and certainly not what I once posted as "voynich." Oh well. If I have to create it anew, I probably can. Likewise the character tier system developed out of Shadowrun / FASA for C&C.

I suppose I should stop deleting things...

I know I have some of your old stuff, but not sure about voynich stuff. However, it is on my external hard drive, which I left at work, and my work has a firewall ups so I can't get into the TLG forums there ...

I'll look tomorrow and see. If I do have some of it, I'll send it your way after I get home from church (so 2030ish give or take)

So I know what to look for, is it the class creation & exp per level kind of info ???

The "voynich" stuff was more like Skills and Powers AD&D. Everything was broken down into a Tier 1, Tier II, or Tier III ability with a "cost" of like 1, 2, or 3... and then you had a certain number of points to buy them. It was only for class creation, not for level advancement, as I recall.

Yes. Please stop.

Oh, and share more (or get someone to print them so you can make some cold hard cash off your writings).

I can look at my computer at home. I've had it since 2002, so I might have it on my portable hard drive somewhere. I somewhat recall the screen name (along with the ocelot), but I have this sneaking suspicion I viewed the "person" as a serleran ripoff. Ha!

I'd have to check myself though if I remember correctly, a lot of that was also discussed on the forums themselves. I remember participating in those discussions.

If you need it, I know I have most everything you posted on this and the previous forum. Just the oldest stuff is probably on those back up CD's I mentioned earlier.

I've got a lot of your old stuff, but nothing like that ... sorry I couldn't help ...
