Rune Lore Extras

Post by Buttmonkey »

Got my PHB with incorporated Rune Lore material yesterday (the book is called "Player's Lore" instead of "Player's Handbook"). Basically, it's the 5th printing text with the rune mark class added as an appendix after the multiclassing rules.

Yes, very interesting. How did you come by this little gem?

I'm guessing he paid to have it created himself, because the only thing the Trolls have done along those lines is with Haunted Highlands, but what they did was far more extensive.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

That, or it was one of the really high dollar options in a Kickstarter, that I never bothered reading because I knew there was no way I was going to "support" with that kind of money.

I got a little carried away when I pledged.

Hmm, pretty cool. Were you able to add anything you wanted within a page count limit?

The Player's Lore book is sweetness. It's exactly as BM stated. What I like most about it is the fact that it has all of the color of the current printing of the PHB plus the page background has gone from a parchment color to a stark white. Very crisp. Very clean looking. I'm playing with this book!

I'm sticking with my 6th printing PHB since I'm not using rune marks at the moment and the 6th printing has all of the errata fixes.

I was not able to add whatever I wanted. One of the pledge levels for Rune Lore was getting a PHB with the rune mark material added in as an appendix. I didn't get to pick anything that would be included.

I wonder how many of these Player Lore books exist? It could be a very low number. ULTIMATE COLLECTIBLE!

Those are the high level pledges made for the in-house Kickstarter for Rune Lore.

They've been at the printer forever.

There were 10 of them made.

As soon as the sticker arrives you'll have a signed and numbered sticker that goes on the inside front cover of the book.

Thanks!
