Careful, his ego may explode.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

Dude, I came in here to say exactly this. Well, Erol Otus. ;) But yeah, he is my all-time favorite fantasy artist.

I prefer Bosch, but probably not considered "fantasy."

Well, I certainly hope it isn't real-life.

My current favorite is Ian Baggley (ASTONISHING SWORDSMEN & SORCERERS of HYPERBOREA).

So hard to decide. There's Larry Elmore, Jeff Easley, David Trampier, Erol Otus, and some other good ones like Bill Willingham, Keith Parkinson, Darlene, Jeff Dee, David "Diesel" LaForce, etc. I almost met Trampier earlier this year. Matter of fact, Stephen C. almost met with him as well. Erol Otus couldn't make it to North Texas RPG Con this year, so maybe I'll meet him next year. I've met Larry numerous times in the past. In recent years, I've met Jeff Easley, Jeff Dee, and Diesel a few times, and Darlene once. All of the aforementioned are very nice people. I saw a picture of Bill Willingham and Diesel together at GenCon. I was so busy working, I was lucky to see Diesel and Easley. ;)

Same here. I have a large framed copy of the Garden of Earthly Delights hanging in my library that I bought from the Del Prado gift shop. I find something new every time I look at it.

Hey, the museum now accepts online orders and ships!

When I was at North Texas RPG Con in June, I shared pictures (from my phone) of some of Trampier's original artwork. About 8 or so pieces were purchased (from Tramp) by a game store in Southern Illinois. When I saw Diesel (he runs the GenCon art show) at GenCon, I gave him information about the store. He said he might drive by there on his way back to Texas (?). I messaged him recently, and it turns out he did stop by to see the artwork. He got to see the original DM screen art and a couple of others. Apparently, some of the other pieces were out of the store being framed. Hope DSL didn't miss the 2-4 original Star Frontiers pieces. Most people's focus is on D&D, but Tramp did the art for one or two SF modules and a miniatures box cover. Great stuff.

Love Peter's work. A lot of good ones, and the gm portrait screen art is among my favorites from Mr. Bradley.
