He is right, he got crap books, and has every right to be upset. Hopefully the Trolls got in touch with him and sent him some good books.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Yea those were jacked up books....

Honestly not sure why Troll Lord Games would of wanted them back either....unless they had a doubt of the guys character. Know other companies I have felt with just say keep them or destroy them...or donate to a Library, etc.

I have a book that was sent to me in error and the company said just keep it or donate to library. I have since contacted them and plan on dropping it off at their house in February when I am at a gaming convention relatively close to their house.

My point though is they said to keep it. The cost to have them shipped back and then to resend new ones is just not worth it....which has me surprised they told him to ship back.

The only reason I can think of is they wanted a close look at the print errors. To better figure out how they occurred.

Way back in the day someone reviewed our Sword and Sorcery version of The Fantastic Adventure. They gave it a 1 out of 5 stars because it was the worst d20 book they had ever played. I wrote the fellow and told him that it was a bad d20 book because it wasn't a d20 book at all, but for a different game system. He didn't care, he left the review up.

That's sort of like this video. That MT he had there was mis-printed. A shift in the paper in the production line. It happens from time to time and like we do with everyone we contacted him (after seeing the video) and sent him replacement copies, or at the very least offered them. But the idea that we would intentionally print books with half pages cut off just simply boggled my mind. Youseph was cool when I talked to him, but I wish he'd pulled that review down.

Just as a matter of course, if any one out there gets a mangled book, please let us know. We'll take care of it as soon as we know.

I need to talk to you about that mangled copy of CZ:Upper Works I got about 6 years ago. ;) When can I expect a replacement or two? Haha. Just kidding. :)
