Sorry to hear this, my sympathies to you and your family. (I lost my mother to cancer almost 10 years ago). As serleran said, in time the pain will fade, but not even cancer can take your cherished memories.

I lost my mother to a heart attack when I was only ten years old. I could live to be 200 and I will always remember the day I found out. For some reason that still escapes me to this day I have never cried, I just felt a dull ache in my heart. Even today, and I am 43, I still feel that ache. The pain never completely goes away, but we humans are very resilient and you will bounce back from this. Just give it time to heal and most importantly, don't forget them.

Rhuvein, sorry for coming in late on this. I have not been on the boards as often as I would like.

I too am sorry for your loss. Your mom left behind a creative son and a loving family. May you all be comforted from on high and may the Lord bless and keep you.

Forgive me if this is out of place, but I found this to be appropriate:

"May G-d console you among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem (Ha'makom yenahem etkhem betokh she'ar avelei Tziyonvi'Yerushalayim)."

I will keep you and yours in prayer.

Ringgold, I offer my condolences to you, as well. May you be comforted in this difficult time.

Michael / Zudrak
