Lurker wrote:Great game last night. I figured we were done for when there were 10 drow in the first tomb, but good tactics saved the day on that.

My cleric did better than I thought he would. Good hits with his mace and the cure wounds with my staff. He is no Lupa .... but still a good asset to the party.
I thought we might be done for as well, but our position was the key to winning the battle. Had we tried to all enter the room, things would have gone differently.

You guys were worried for nothing. The drow were only 2nd level fighters with 9 hit points each. It's the upcoming encounters you should be worried about.

Speaking of that .... as it is a grave yard, and close to night fall .... we may want to find someplace safe to rest ....

As for only 2nd lvl fighters with 9 hp ... that sounds too easy, so when Lupa is bragging about it at the village bar, they will be at least 4th level with 20 - 30 hp, and the head count will me more like 15 , ... no 20 sounds better, yeah that is the story ! ;)

My game tonight, but be aware that I have to step away around 10 pm, my time, when the Mrs gets home from spending the day with her mother. It will be for at least a half hour, possibly an hour. I'll try to keep it short.

Lupa ... a little less than 4k to level (ohhhhhh so close)

Sorley , 6th level! wooo hoooo 2 3rd level spells and +3 to hit.

Now about that sword and hammer .... moderate magic on the sword and high moderate on the hammer .... are we sure we can't use them in our quest ... a high moderate powered hammer could be useful, & I know the elf could use a magic sword for those times when he doesn't run away fast enough and the bad guys close with him ....

No extra xp's for taking the first shock of the day? Oh well... next time I'll poke it with a tree branch. Sarosious still has a few thousand to go as well before leveling.

Yeah, I am going to try and take an hour or so nap prior to the game time frame in hopes it will give me the energy to be able to participate in an enjoyable way.

It never seems to fail, Mary wss out of town all weekend again. I was expecting Jr to be home when I got there from work, but she won't be home until just before the game starts. Let's push back 30 mins or so. If I'm longer than an hour, assume no game. Again, sorry.

Great game last night, but now the question of the day is ..... just how effective a barbarian, even with a ring of displacement and bane sword, is in a fight when he is only 6 inches tall ?????

Maybe. Recovery from this is going far slower than I, or anyone, would like.

a big t-storm is passing to the south right now and I'm on the edge of its track. If I'm lucky, it will miss me. However, if my coms go in and out for the next hour or so, that is why ...

fun game last night

However, Sorley is hurt ... why did we run from a room full of undead ... so what there were too many for Barleg to count ... that could only be 10 or so ... plus I turned all of the wights on my first try. Makes no difference there were still ghasts, ghouls, zombies and skeletons .... Heck the ghouls skeletons and zombies I not only turn, I destroy (I checked ghouls are considered common so I'd also turn/destroy 1 d12 of them instead of the d6 for the stronger undead) .... come on, with the way I roll what could go wrong !!!!

Just a reminder that I'm not going to be able to run the game tonight, so unless Tree is feeling up to running his game, there will be no game tonight.
