We definitely want the ranger to have a good AC. Keeping the front line alive and happy makes for a happy (and alive) wizard.

I propose the following. After we escape the clutches of this cultist deathtrap, we make for the forest of the elves, where my fair sister led that train of rescued elven maidens to be returned to their families.

While there, Aeschelon will request an audience with the king. The arcane archer will call upon all of his powers of persuasion, as well as the wit and wisdom of his player

After that fails miserably, we will point out to the king that we have performed a great service for his people. In return, we humbly request that he ask his finest armorer to craft a suit of finest elven chain, to be bestowed upon the honorable ranger.

Of course, we understand that such a gift may require that said ranger take the hand of a princess in marriage, or slay an ogre (or perhaps slay a princess and marry an ogre- we elves are whimsical like that) but even this offer we shall accept.

Then we head to the egg of phoenix module and do what we do best (muck up a classic module)
 blink, blink, blink ....

That almost made me laugh hard cider out my nose !

LOL! All I need to come up with is a colorful tent for a wedding dress, and a yellow musk creeper for a bouquet and we'll be all set.

I think so, but I may have to push back an hour. The Mrs is going to be in a play (not directing) in February and her rehearsals started tonight. She won't be home until after 9 and I don't know if she has eaten or not. And I want to see how it went.

Unless Tree surprises us and got home this week to run his game, then it's his call.

Hey, I know I said an hour, but I'm not feeling well. I'm gonna turn in early and hope I'm not getting sick. We have bug going around the school.

Rgr that ! a buddy of mine got a sinus and chest bug 2 weeks ago ....... He finally felt good enough today to come back to work .... You know he had to be sick because he missed all 2 weeks of deer/rifle season ! So, I hope it ain't the same bug he got

Get some rest, take some meds, and a good shot of whisky or a hot totty (for medicinal purposes of course) and feel better!

Hey guys, big faux pas on my part. Monday 12/12 is the Mrs's birthday. So I am going to cancel so I can celebrate with her. If Tree is able to run A&8's that would be great. If not, maybe some one can run a one shot.

Sorry for having to cancel 2 weeks in a row. I will be better in the future.

There is a good chance I will have to stay at a hotel that night (wood floors getting stained and sealed in the house). If that ends up being the day, then I can run Aces and Eights. Assuming the hotel has internet that can handle Roll 20 and Discord at the same time.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I'm actually a little glad, my sinuses and neck are killing me and giving me a headache , so I can use the lack of game to take extra meds and get some rest.

Have a good one

Great game last night. I was worried that the blood sponge was going to charge into the room with wyrens ... had he done so, I'd had to leap to his rescue yet again, but as he for once used discretion , ... However, I still got stung in the fight ... stupid ambush from the roof top.

Like I said last night, I'll be out of pocket on the 26th myself. So, I'll see you all next year

Hey guys, sorry to do this on such short notice, but we left my in-laws later than I was wxpecting to and we just got home about 15 minutes ago (745 pm). I'm wiped and we have an early day tomorrow driving to Pittsburgh to see some friends for the day. I'm going to cancel. Again, sorry for the short notice.

Sooooooo I'm hearing that you all couldn't bear to game without the awesomeness that Lupa and Dardo brings to the table .... ;)

My in-laws were in from GA, plus I was sick as a dog with a major bout of my perma head cold worsening, so I couldn't have gamed even if everyone else was in for it.

They had a blast here and my daughters enjoyed them, and I got to eat a ton of home made Korean food along with the ton of 'American holiday' food , so it was good time for everyone - until my sinuses kicked in and left me in bed for 36 hours.

That said, as long as my nose stops leaking my brains out before net Monday, look forward to the game net week.

I can run my game, but with two of you potentially missing we could also just talk about characters for future games, and exactly what setting ideas you would like to see me use, especially for Victorious. Like I played a one shot of Savage Worlds Runepunk last night, and I had a bunch of ideas pop into my head about how I could use that world settings ideas in a setting more or less my own, etc... for Victorious. Which would allow those of you concerned about whether or not you can accept the quasi realism of an alternate Earth to presumably have an easier time of it with a more or less completely different world.

Like I could still use Earth, but follow along the lines of the "history" of what created Rifts Earth by using the very similar history used to create the setting of Runepunk.

Anyways, just a taste of the kinds of things we could discuss about my future games.

Having serious trouble doing an update with Discord. Been trying to do it for over an hour now, with it failing once, and it still isn't done. So may have to try using SKYPE. It seems to be working, at least.
