A bearded demon of Aihrde. (M&ToA p. 31)

In German "baertig" means bearded. Don't know if unk- is a real German prefix, but many creatures in Aihrde have German-like names. Like Unklar means "unclear" in German.

Oh, the TRolls definitely used a lot of German for inspiration. Aihrde used to be Erde, etc... Plus I think it was Steve who was stationed over in Germany.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

So basically it was changed to a phonetic spelling. Makes sense, as I'm sure many pronounced it as "erd".

I like the original spelling better though.

Yeah, I always say "air-duh" but in the videos, the trolls say "aird".
