Probably a question for Peter Bradley. I like the wizard's hat. A nice change from the traditional pointed hat.

I think that is Aristobolus; there was a thread about it somewhere. I think it was Mac Golden's character, and featured in Aihrde lore.

You will see him mentioned a lot in the new Codex. He became an arch-mage and then a demigod, if not a god. Like most wizards, he is not easily classified along the lines of good and evil. He allied with Narrheit against Unklar.

The name Aristobolus was given to several historical figures, and it was also the name of a great wizard in Rosenberg's Guardians of the Flame series. Of course I don't know if Mac Golden was inspired by any of those or merely grabbed the name.
