I Have the Best Wife Evar...

Post by ArgoForg »

I'm waaaaaayyyyy late to do this, because I've been dealing with a shift change at work and a lot of varied home activities. My wife,as some of you know, is ridiculously craft-y. She does a lot of polymer clay figurines and ornaments and sculptures, and does 3D art and writes. She also loves tabletop RPGs, which all in all makes her a perfect woman, IMHO.

We took a look at some nice looking dice rolling boxes at Gen Con, but were put off by the price. This Christmas, she made me up this:

Image

It was made with a stained/lacquered file box and green felt. And it works wonderfully. And as a plus, the top can be used separately as another dice rolling box if I want to loan it out for a session.

Luckiest. Guy. Alive.

Just wanted to say.

She is most definitely a "keeper"!
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

Nice!

My wife is crafty too, but NOT into gaming so would never think to put her craftiness to use like yours! So, with that, my hat is off to you and yours! :)

I've made sure my wife has seen the 'Etsy Store' responses, and she's all blushy. Maybe this is something she can put in there next to her custom clay pieces at her store, if there's a decent market for it. I'll see!
