And I used to really dislike it.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I never wanted to post this, but the 3rd print ink & paper have special, shall we say "ingredients" that when you sniff the pages a lot - a certain clarity and enlightenment will ensue! ;)

The 3rd printing is my favorite of the phbs. I like its compactness and sturdy binding. And I like the classic C&C look better than the newer C&C look, though the newer look is quite nice too.

I do get a little light-headed and giddy when I crack it open, now I know why! :lol:

Yes. Its also the only printing I got the Faux leather covers of. Which are the books I typically use when I run my games and play in other C&C games. Lately I have been using the newest printing, mostly due to the errata being addressed in most cases. Even though they still missed a few. Considering how infrequently they probably even get referenced in play is likely why.

I have read that there was a change from 3rd to 4th edition.

What were the changes between them.

Primarily the Barbarian class was majorly rewritten. The Monk got one or two modifications. The Illusionist spell list was greatly expanded, but most of them add nothing, IMO. I think that is also when the additional pages covering the Multi class rules and class and a half rules were added.
