PBP C&C game? Please?
PBP C&C game? Please?
I have been completely unsuccessful in finding an in-person C&C game, so I would like to try my hand at a play-by-post game. Is anyone running or starting one who would allow me to join? Hope to hear from you soon.
Re: PBP C&C game? Please?
Well, PBP is not that popular anymore, here anyway.
Most of us here run/play live online with SKYPE and Maptools. I'm looking to start a game and I invite you to join. See my thread below for more info.

I would play chat possibly, but play by post is too slow for my tastes.
You should try voice chat with us sometime, I think you might like it.

We have a game on most Saturdays you could drop in on with the estimable Kayolan as the DM. But beware, it is a low power game, so we tend to run away from most threats like giants, and ogres, and even particularly grumpy looking house cats

You would need skype, a roll 20 membership, and an imagination, all of which are free.

I am blown away by the awesome offers! I will start looking into skype and roll20. My only fear is that my laptop is pretty old. Not sure how it will perform.
Re: PBP C&C game? Please?
How old is the laptop?
SKYPE, Maptools and Roll20 shouldn't be any extra drain on power. But testing would be good.

One of my kids uses a 7 year old laptop with SKYPE and Roll 20, and the only problems we have is our crappy ISP.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
