New guy in the Castle
So, I was at North Texas RPG Con over this past weekend, and was perusing the booths. When I stopped at the Troll Lord Games booth, Tyler stepped out and started pitching the game to me. I had heard of Castles & Crusades, but had never really looked into it. Tyler's exuberance about the game got me interested in finally taking a look, and I picked up a few books while I was there. I have to say that so far, I'm impressed, and a bit disappointed that I hadn't checked out this game before. I am already looking forward to talking to my group about running a few sessions for them.
Anyway, I just wanted to drop by here and thank Tyler for introducing me to the game. Thanks, and I hope to be spending a lot of time around here!

Welcome! We are always happy to answer any questions, share house rules, etc...
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Welcome.
I'd say that the only thing that rivals the game is the quality of the people that hang out here.
Enjoy both!

Its like a sporting event line up of players as the latest player takes the field, high fiving each of the "old guards" as they pass... So I'll add my welcome to the crew, welcome Dark Paladin... not sure if we should abbreviate that one
The boards and the crew who welcomed you are a great resource. You'll even find many threads on you name sake... to peak your interest.
Cheers, Captain K

Re: New guy in the Castle
As others have already said, Welcome to the Crusade!
I came over a few years ago myself and have found C&C players to be some of the most down-to-earth people about gaming, with very little of the One True Way dogma attached to some other games. It's very much a Hakuna Matata RPG
