Hi,
It's late, I have a headache and I'm working with the 6th printing so forgive me if this is obvious.
Where, in the Player's Handbook, do I find info about the PC's Basic Attack Bonus? Attribute Mod (I'm looking at the character sheet)? Is it a stat roll or am I missing something here?
The one drawback of having the flipbook - no index.

Re: Attack bonus
There in each class descriptions tables. IE BtH, XP, etc...
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

The attribute modifiers table is in the beginning of the Character Creation chapter, page 15 for the printing I am looking at.

Re: Attack bonus
Base Attack Bonus is BTH, each class has a chart. Fighters get a +1 each level, others less than that. Attribute Mods have a chart at the very beginning (of the 4th print anyways) in the creating character section, Ranges from -3 to +3.SmokestackJones wrote:Hi,

Re: Attack bonus
There are also possible situation adjustments, such as terrain advantages, whether an elf is using a sword, whether a fighter is using the weapon in which they are specialized, and so forth. But, if all you want is the baseline, every class details the per level increment. Only the fighter gets +1 / level. Other warrior types typically get level -1. And so forth.

Re: Attack bonus
Thanks guys. Not used to it being so straightforward (in 3.5 I don't think I ever got what BaB was all about - not that it needed it).
