A rewrite?

Post by Treebore »

To bring Victorious in line with the C&C rules? I sense a disaster in the making. Has any of this re-ewrite been play tested?
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Ok, I see what you mean. In the #14 Kickstarter post Steve mentions a rewrite of Victorious to bring it closer to the Siege Engine.

This didn't change the rules at all. In my original manuscript, I made "Primes" a skill so that non-supers could obtain it during character generation. I described it as a +6 to rolls using that attribute. Steve wanted me to go into more detail in the Checks and Save section to better reflect the C&C PHB paradyme.

So, it didn't change the rules any, just how it is presented. Well, that and added 6 more pages to the checks section... :P

;)

Good. I was afraid if they were doing a true rewrite they would screw everything up, and not know it because they didn't take the time to play test it.

 Yeah, no need to have 10 years of playtest go to waste now is there? ;)
