Thanks to the Gray Elf for pointing me to the original site. I've picked the Victorian-Edwardian (1837-1911) sources for the list below, but there are mags to as late as the 1950s available there free.

Oooh! These are AWESOME! This thread needs to be stickied.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
