Since it looks like there won't be any more forthcoming Bluffside material I am tasked with coming up with the Ruins of Sem La Vah (for that is where my players have expressed a desire to stomp around, even though I have yet to come up with a plotline). I think I have a good starting point with both my Undermountain sets and Rappak Athuk to "borrow" from (also possibly Barrowmaze 1&2), not to mention Judges' Guild Book of Ruins and a few maps off the net (thanks Dyson) but what would you folks recommend for DIY ruins? One of my colleagues on THAC0's Hammer suggested The Ruins of Myth Drannor box set but I haven't scored a copy yet. Any other suggestions?

You'll get more out of this in a section where people can reply.
Re: Building (Or Ruining) Sem La Vah
Being totally ignorant of any of these setting is this above or below ground or both.. Ruins of what? I always like things that seem to be one thing but are really one or two other things upon detailed investigation/exploration. A Necropolis run by Monks of another race who age and sort and arrange the bones to create sculptures with magic power which in turn eventually create MIs and relics from said bones which are used by the monk... but there is a twist a splinter group of monks making bone golems are messing up the whole centuries old operation.
Wow, Another Natural One! You guys are a sink hole for luck. Stay away from my dice.

Good idea, I'll have to add that to my tool box !
As for Sem La Vah
I have a PDF of blufside, but haven't read much in it so can't help you there.
I'd say, idea mine things you like and add them in to the location as you need/want/desire and have fun with it!
