I don't argue so much as state a countering opinion...until it gets too heavy at which point I generally start being a smarta** cause I'm tired of being serious...which attracts dementors.

C&C seems less ambiguous and more straightforward, so maybe there is less to argue over here.
Is that a challenge, because I know there are people here that just love to argue ....
Not a challenge, but arguments generate posts and posts give the feeling of activity. I'm guilty as many others, since I often check in but seldom weigh in.

Best part of these forums is the online section, lots of games have been played as a result of its existence (as well as friendships forged) over the years. We have a solid (though smallish) community here and that's fine with me. I'd like to see it grow a little over time, but I don't mind that the traffic is slow for now.

Honestly, rgr that. If it wasn't fore here and the ol games, I would have never started gaming again and wouldn't have friends that I now do.

One day I'll dip into the cyberpool. Just need to focus on my kid right now in whatever spare time I have outside of working since it's just us.
So there should be plenty of time for folks getting their straight jackets and stocking up on appropriate crazy meds.

You should, it's a good way to get your game on when you can't get a face to face group going.

Thank Rhu and Rigon. We've got a new baby on the way, I have a new job and I have a regular game that is going back to C&C in the Highlands. So all is well.

Wow man, Congrats
I know a while back you were going through some rough times, so good to hear some great news from your area.
One of these days we are going to have to link up and have a coffee or something.
GoO, rgr on having to focus on your little one. Family comes first. That said, on line games are a great way to get a game in when family and real life get in the way of the fun time wasting things.

I'm with you there on that .... Things I think will make a good discussion fizzle out, if they are even commented on. I'm better at stirring the pot and adding to a conversation than starting one ....

I hear ya on all of that. I had to take some time to clear my head and refocus on a lot. Of course the loss of my father-in-law and the new baby changed quite a bit for me. However I have a good team behind me and have a vape shop and game shop I hang at. Now it is just getting my new campaign going and getting a new computer since I hate using these tablets.

Hello everyone. I used to post here quite a bit but had several life/work things come up and something had to give. I'm looking forward to getting back on the boards though.

Yep, we have 2 (or is it three?) tablets in my household. I don't think anyone has used them in at least 5 months, we much prefer our laptops or desktops.

Now I'm using the phone which is a little better. *sigh*

Thats what we use when we are on the road actually traveling. Once we stop at a hotel, or get back home, we use our laptops or desk tops, depending on where we are. We have yet to take a desk top on a road trip with us. Even though I considered taking mine when I knew we'd be staying in Ohio for a couple of weeks. I survived just fine with my laptop.

That's good to know. It always amazes me how horribly confined spaces and an overly tight jacket can bring the warm fuzzies back. Not to mention the pungent aroma of Troll.
