Arms and Armor

Post by gabriellyon »

Just had a quick look over the PDF of this. I must say this will be a nice addition to the library. Next time someone asks me, what a glaive guisarme spike thingy I can just hand them the book and say "look it up". Thanks Trolls.

I haven't dug out my old copy for comparison, but I am pretty sure at 50 or so pages this new one is greatly expanded compared to the original. I think the original is something like 30 pages.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I'm very impressed at first glance.. nice detail in the line drawings... I was hoping for museum quality photos.. but, the sketches are superior. I would have loved a date and country or region of origin since I'm guessing they knew this.. why they did not include this seems almost intentional. My vote for the next update is to include culture and date of true origin.

Great work authors and researchers!
Wow, Another Natural One! You guys are a sink hole for luck. Stay away from my dice.

True. Until then I imagine a quick search on the internet will give us that info... Or if someone wants to do up their onw listing for a Domesday submission... (Not you Captain, you've written over half of the submissions I have as it is... At this rate, you should put out your own C&C product.)

If you want my original one, where I pulled images from the internet and wrote my own descriptions.... I could let you have it and use it. It was around before A&A.

I don't need it, I have plenty of my own books on the shelves behind me, but others may be interested...

Yeah.... check the bold part.

Never assumed you would want it for your personal needs.

But, hey, if you don't think it useful, I withdraw the offer.
