Saddle stitched POD

Post by slimykuotoan »

Hey guys, I'm needing to get a hardcover 6th printing PHB in black & white -I have difficulty reading red text. Anyone know a good service to do this?

Please don't link a home page from any old printing service, because usually, upon further research, they cannot offer 1 copy of a saddle stitched PDF to RPG sized hardcover.

I don't know what selection of bindings Lulu offers, but they are who I recommend. Or maybe you can get the Trolls to set up a POD file at Drivethru and use them.
However I know Lulu will POD any PDF you send them, assuming its a format they can "read" with their computer system. Again, not sure if they can give you the binding you want.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

On the other hand, some Lulu customers have been banned from Lulu for printing gaming PDFs that Lulu didn't believe were legal to print out. You'd be taking your chances printing out your legally purchased 6th printing PDF using black and white through Lulu.

Hmm, I would assume that would be okay? I purchased the pdf through here. My printing preferences should be mine I'd think.

I know that Steve Jackson Games has a release on their website that gives explicit permission to owners of their PDFs to print them (you can print out your receipt if there is any question about ownership). I don't think the Trolls have included anything like this..

That's what the people who were banned by Lulu said. I believe you can find threads on this at Dragonsfoot. Just because you are right doesn't mean you are going to win. :(

I wold think as long as your printing only single copies you would be OK, but I am not even sure what jurisdiction covers their printing.`I would imagine its based upon country of origin.
