I run a C&C group of four who are in the Bluffside area (which I placed in my campaign world of Erf). They're off to rescue a steam gnome wizard who was captured by pirates. Some highlights from the 4/4/2016 game:
The group making it to Bluffside proper and using the steam gnome elevators to get to Sordadon (they had to ride with the cattle but what the hell). Had bit of trouble when someone with a bow was taking potshots at them on the way down but no serious injuries thanks to the dwarven monk's missile deflection ability.
Got a schooner for a good price from the Stormwright brothers at their shipyard and got themselves a crew to boot. The brothers even put them up for the night, especially after the brothers were threatened by some thugs from the Golden Sabre wanting "protection" money.
The PCs defending the shipyard when the thugs (2 half-orcs, a human assassin and a Dragori monk) showed up with about 4 orcs and a hill giant trying to wreck and burn the place.
The ranger making a last-minute DEX roll to avoid getting crushed by said hill giant after he was felled like a mighty oak.
The monk and barbarian chopping off the giant's head, stripping it to the skull and mounting it as the ship's new figurehead.
All in all a good time. Next, off to the Isle of Dread!
