A simpler, streamlined GURPS?

Post by Treebore »

I own a lot of GURPS, including all of their HC's for fantasy game play with their last edition. That said, this doesn't appeal to me, but all of you are not me, so maybe you will be interested. A new KS to give a simpler, streamlined, only the basics, GURPS rules needed to run fantasy games.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Actually, not new. Dungeon Fantasy has been around for years. This is just a fancy, new packaging.

Edit: Yeah, just looked up my first copy. 2007.

They claim this is written based upon feedback over the last 10 years. So while it will have old stuff, it does have new material as well.

Interesting, it's been years (decades) since I've played any GURPS. This looks like it might be worth trying out.
