Just kidding. Both nasty weapons, especially being used upon horseback.Re-reading Unearthed Arcana ~ great stuff in the appendix. The chapter does a great job of breaking down the pole arms into catagories - spears, axe, cleaver and combinations.
The Fauchard-fork looks badass, heck they all do.
I rarely have players that use pole arms, but I do like to have gnolls and other monsters use bardiches or halberds. 7ft gnoll swinging a halberd or stabbing directly . . look out adventurers!
Of course y'all remember that the early C&C PHs had some nice drawings (if a little too small) of various weapons. I'd like to see The Trolls put the drawings back in!
