Shadows of a Green Sky...

Post by Treebore »

Is another PDF I bought in the 48 hour $2 sale.

I did not realize the purpose of this module. It has ALL the rules info you need to run it inside. No C&C books are needed.

I also like the adventure premise, basically the sky turns green and magic bad things start happening to the town. Then the party shows up and triess to save who and what is left. Its a bit more complex than that, but I am trying to not give any spoilers.

It even has some 4th level pre gens to play through with.

The only negative I can give about this PDF is there is no map. You are given a decent illustration of what a small portion of the town looks like, but no actual map. However the material is written well enough, and simply enough, that I could easily create a map, and I have a flip map or two from Paizo I could probably use for this, and I no doubt have digital maps I could repurpose to being this town. However, as a product presumably aimed at not only people new to C&C, but possibly gaming in general, it probaby would be a good idea to add a map.

All in all, I am actually looking forward to running this some time, its a neat little adventure with cool and rarely used monsters.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Awesome! I was unfamiliar with this one until your review, but it does sound like a fun one-shot adventure. :D

I think it was an RPG Day module. I think I have it somewhere (either PDF or physical).

Good idea, this module. They should showcase this on their main site, methinks.
