PH 2nd Printing fonts

Post by Fizz »

Hi all-

Does anyone one what the font is in the 2nd printing of the Player's Handbook. I'm referring to the font used for most headers. IE, "CLASSES", or "Fighter".

And does anyone know where to get it?

Can we get a PHB in Braille? Seriously. I think that'd be awesome.

Definitely a great idea. My mother in law is blind and reads braille (I say that because not all blind people can or want to learn braille). The average book is huge due to the translation. But the great thing is, the USPS delivers them free from the braille library. Now that is very excellent.

Not so sure my Mo-in-law would be interested, but who knows. However, I am sure there are blind gamer who would very much love to see a copy.

Which reminds me, was there a braille version of the AD&D 1E PH/DMG?

On the chest of a barmaid from Zale

was tattooed all the prices of ale

whilst on her behind

for the sake fo the blind

it was precisely the same

but in braile. 8)

Hah...you know, there's a modern add-on verse to the old Irish Traditional, "The Black Velvet Band", that is very similar to this:

On her bosom she wore a large notice

Advertising the price of her tail

And on her behind, for the good of the blind

Was the same information in braille
