Has anyone run or played in this module. If so, what are your impressions?

Thanks,

Perhaps a hint may be in order.

Many of the names from the tv show, WKRP in Cincinnati are used in this module that was produced by TLG.

Penny informs me that BM got it!!

My problem is I don't know that show or the names of the people that were in it.

Well done, BM!

Until the other night, I had no idea . . after 11 years!

My next clue was going to be - nearby the town of Freiburg in the Gelderlands of Erde.

Me neither until the other night!

The C&C module in question uses the tv names from WKRP for its chars names.

I'm still not wanting to post the mod name for a bit, in case forum members are interested in tackling the mystery ~
oh yeah, there's another clue!

I saw the tv show long ago and still remember many character names and episode plots. No idea which module this might be, however.

I can only remember Bailey Quarters, Les Nesman, and Jennifer as far as names go. Clearly I am unfamiliar with this module.

Plus Andy Travis, Venus Flytrap, Doctor Johnny Fever, Herb Tarlick, Arthur Carlson, and Mother Carlson. I'm blanking on Mother Carlson's butler's name. Arthur Carlson's kid was on at least one episode and I'm blanking on him, too. That's it for the principal cast.

I have no idea what module is being referred to.

The "I thought kobolds could fly" is a reference to WKRP's classic Thanksgiving episode. The station manager, Arthur Carlson, became frustrated that he was being marginalized by the effective members of the staff so he hatched a Thanksgiving promotion and refused to tell anyone what exactly he planned. He ended up dropping turkeys from a helicopter over a grocery store parking lot. The station's news director live reported from the scene and described the horror of a bunch of turkeys falling to their deaths. When Arthur Carlson got back to the station after the debacle, all he said was "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly." It was much funnier than I am making it sound.
