Arms and armor
I was reading thru arms and armor and I noticed a lot of the armor and weapons listed in AnA are different (stat wise) than what is listed in CnC PHB. Why is that? For example, the broad sword is listed as 2d4 in cnc, but 2d4+1 in AnA.

These are alternative rules and are probably best adopted as a replacement for what's in the PHB if you use them, either on a per-item basis or completely.
