Victorious + AA

Post by paladinn »

Hello all,

I know both Victorious and Amazing Adventures have rules for supers of whatever level. Has anyone used the two together? I'm wondering what circumstances one would make one preferable to the other.

Also, is there any possibility of doing a 5e version of Victorious? AA5e has become my RPG obsession!

Thanks!

I would run/play AA if I was looking to use a class-based system and V if I was looking to do use a skills-based system.

I need to go back and peruse the Victorious game. I have it, but I've been leaning more toward AA because of cross-genre stuff and C&C-blendability.

Would it be hard to use all 3 together?

I don't think these would be tough to use together at all.

And V is just a damn good system. Although it is presented as a Victorian Supers game, it can be used to play any type of game from fantasy to modern supers, to sci-fi. The rules are flexible enough to not tear apart and still give yo what you want.

I know Victorious is designed to be class-less, but I did notice some "archetypes" which sort of look like classes. I guess if I'm using in conjunction with AA, I could have a Supers "class"?

So theorycrafting.. How would one create a hero modeled after the Hulk or Spider-Man or Capt. America? How/could a character be built for really Super strength?
