Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Book Of The Righteous by Green Ronin.
I was working on a church in my homebrew realm that had evolved beyond the God for every doorknob approach.
I found the work daunting when I noticed BOTR on a gamestore shelf. After breezing thru it I decided to buy it as a reference.
After reading more deeply after getting it home I have inserted it into my game and never looked back.
I don't run the individual cults exactly as written but the Great Church is central to my setting.
Love it!

I just picked up a copy of AEG's Toolbox. This book is fantastic and I can see it as very useful for most fantasy RPGs. It's just a great book of useful tables. Ha, and I love the little touches, like having the writer credits presented as tables.
I see this book as being a "go to" one when prepping for a game session.

That is a book I have been intending to pick up if I ever find it for a steal kind of price. It came out like 5 years ago, so my luck has been bad.

The best price I've ever seen it for has been over at Noble Knights and it's not much of a discount. They currently have two copies... one at $22.95 (as opposed to $26.95) and a Near Mint copy at $20. Maybe as we get closer to the end of the year... AEG may try and clear remained d20 stock (due to the license/logo issue). If it doesn't seem to by December, I'd consider just biting the bullet on the price.

What is the full name of this book? Tried looking it up on NKG under 'toolbox' but got nowhere.
thanks. It sounds pretty interesting.

I found it by publisher, which is how I usually search their site. Plus I am familiar with AEG because I love their L5R system.

Yeah, their search function is just awful. I have to seach on product name, publisher or category many times to get find, what I know they have in stock.
I've learned, but most customers are not going to want to do this.

The Toolbox is indeed a great book.
Another pair to have are the Pocket Grimoires (Arcane and Divine) by Green Ronin....has a LOT of spells if you're lookin for more.
Also Cities by Chaosium...have used it extensively since the late 80's for setting up my villages and towns. (the nekkid slave girl in it is pretty hot too)

Guys, regarding Toolbox, try eBay. I got mine for about $3 (before factoring in S&H). The best thing to do is to setup a saved search and just wait for the book to come up for a good price. I do that all the time and have gotten great d20 deals (since the coming of 4e). There are plenty of stores cleaning house when it comes to d20 products.
edit: I got mine via Troll and Toad Games, which also sells gaming products from their web site if you don't like eBay. They have it for $5:

9 in stock, boys! Get 'em while they're hot. They also sell C&C products. I got DB1-DB3 from them at the same time. Again, I bought via their eBay shop, but they also sell C&C via their own site.

Yeppers, Toolbox is a great book. I got mine when it was first released and have used it extensively since. I also second the aforementioned BotR. Indespensible in pantheon creation, IMHO.
I'm kind of partial to the (WotC) Call of Cthulhu d20 game, Bation Press's Alchemy & Herbalists, the first Tome of Horrors from Necromancer Games, The Book of Eldritch Might by Monte Cook, and The Arms and Equipment Guide, by WotC. I'm also partial to the campaign supplements put out by Atlas Games (Love & War, Crime & Punishment, and Dynasties & Demagogues).

I think MWP's Races of Ansalon book is not only the best d20 product I have seen, it also ranks up there as an all time best RPG product. Sure, not overly useful if you aren't a Dragonlance fan, but it's quality should be what all other companies should strive for.
I have to agree, Races of Ansalon is an outstanding book. If only they could have had some better artists (not to say what is in there is bad) RoA would have been the right up there as one of my favorites as well. Unfortunately, this book is pretty useless to all but DL gaming fans. Good call DD.

I love Fast Forward Games "Traps and Treachery I and II" as was mentioned earlier.
I also really enjoyed reading Zeitgeist Games "Dave Arneson's Blackmoor". It reminded me so much of the Mystara campaign setting. (For a good reason)

I've seen the Book of the Righteous on so many "best of" lists, I just ordered from Green Ronin directly. Heck, it's only $5.

Much better than its original $40 price. I ordered myself a second copy as well.

A couple of years ago when Green Ronin had another $5.00 sale I picked up a couple of copies. Heck, I just gave them away to show the awesomeness of The Book of the Righteous... and hopefully get people to play using this cool book.

Another real gem is Green Ronin's Advanced Bestiary. It's not "just another monster book," but rather a great assortment of templates. I picked it up a while back at the first Green Ronin "end is nigh" sale and pleasantly surprised about how great it is.
Granted, it's about as d20 as you can get .

That's encouraging! I just picked up my last two Dragonlance hardbacks, Races of Ansalon and Legends of the Twins, for $16, including shipping. Glad to hear Races is spoken highly of.
I'm not sure if this one has been mentioned or not, but Goods and Gear by Kenzer & Co. is particularly awesome. A perfect example of what a good "gear book" should consist of, IMHO.
