Looking for a game

Post by Buttmonkey »

I'm looking for a chat game. I'm not set up for SKYPE (whatever that is), but I'm dying to start playing some C&C. Weekends are best for me, but I could also possibly play on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday evenings (US time). Mondays and Tuesdays are no good since I am teaching a night class on those nights starting in August (Mondays in the fall and Tuesdays in the spring).

Please let me know if anyone has an opening!

Hey BM, welcome to the Crusade! You might want to check out Skathros' every other Sunday night DL game. Here is a link. Also, Slimykoutan has a Wednesday night game. Here is his info.

Skype is a great program. All you need to use it is a mic. It is incredibly easy to use. You download the program (for free), add the contact info of the person you are talking to, and make a call. That easy. If you have questions, feel free to ask any of us that are curreently using Skype to game.

Hey BM. Rigon said it all, so hopefully you can try this!

Well, it just so happens that we have an opening in our Tuesday night group. Treebore is the CK and is a very good one. We meet every Tuesday night at 9 pm EST. We use Skype for voice chat and MapTools for everything else. Contact Treebore and he can give you more info.

My game, which is on Sundays, could use a steady and consistent wizard or illusionist: http://www.freeyabb.com/phpbb/viewtopic ... llordgames

I'm also in a Greyhawk game on Friday nights, which could use a steady fighter or rogue, depending on what another guy plays: http://www.freeyabb.com/phpbb/viewtopic ... llordgames

Neat! Responses already. I knew I came to the right forum. I would love to play in your game, ssfsx. I'll take my questions to your thread.

And thanks for the heads up, Rigon. I've already PMed Treebore. He seems like a busy guy around here.

Unfortunately, Wednesday and Friday nights are the two times I am entirely unable to join a game.

That said, thanks for reminding me to update this post. I have been very happy absorbed into Treebore's game and I am very grateful for the friendly community here at TLG and for the easy to learn and immediately comfortable C&C ruleset.
