I finally received my copy of the Player's Guide. I bought the boxed set a while back (2 months ago, I think), and CSIO a month ago, and have been dying to get a campaign going, but after reading through most of the boxed set, realized I needed something with a higher level approach - like the PG.
And now I have it. I'm planning my Wilderlands campaign even now. I already have a few rules mods (making spellcasting a bit more dangerous, for example), and to reflect the lower tech feel I'm considering changing the costs of weapons and armor in most areas (double and triple respectively, or maybe triple and quintuple - still playing around with the numbers) - when its available at all.
The last game I ran (Savage Worlds Evernight) was very plot-arc, story-driven game. This one I'm shooting for more of an episodic feel, and I'm going to use a host of DCC and old 1E modules.
Finally!
Where players gather to discuss the setting and game!
