The other issues came in an envelope, while Crusader #4 was shipped as-is, with a mailing label. Maybe that's the difference.

Well then that may explain it!

Magazines will NEVER make it here if they're not preoperly sealed in a plastic bag. This is one of the reasons I've always shyed away from subscriptions to anything. The Dungeon subscription was thankfully sealed in a water tight plastic bag otherwise I would not have considered renewing it. Not only will the magazines be torn to shreds during the shipment as they move from place to place, box to box, bin to bin, etc... but in the winter they would get all wet and such. It's just stupid to ship a magazine, especially one of such cheap paper quality, without being properly sealed. I know I didn't pay much for the subscription so I half expected this, but if the trolls want to be taken seriously, then perhaps the quality should be looked at. From what I've seen on these boards, the paper qualtity of issue 4 was not all that great either!

At this point, I honestly don't care. If it arrives then I'll read it, if not, then no big loss. I will however think twice before ordering anything of significance in the future.

A bag or envelope is definitely the way to go. It may add some cost, but I think all parties will be happier. I'd pay more to ensure a good copy. My issue 3 was pretty well beat up, but my first 2 issues are mint! Issue 4 never made it, and the Trolls were nice enough to send another (in a nice envelope), so it's mint as well.

Any chances to see a pdf of Crusader 4? I live in the UK, and shipping would cost more than the magazine.

Cheers,

Antonio

We actually were not accepting subscriptions from Canada in the beginning and a few (three I think) slipped through. We are going to suspend subscriptions to Canada and offer refunds until some other solution presents itself. Sorry folks.

Jynx. I'm going to offer you a full refund. I've sent yours 3 times. There is little I can do beyond getting in my truck and driving to Canada and bringing it to you (I'm really not likely to do that...if I were younger now! lol).

So I'll be sending you an IM here in a moment with details.

Steve

Crusader 4 will go up early nest week. Crusader 5 is finished and going to print on Monday.

Thanks,

Steve

I just downloaded this one from RPGNow - great issue. I especially liked the article on the deities. If there's ever a C&C version of the DDG, I hope it reads like this and remains generally stat free.
