The new site looks fantastic. And the bargain prices couldn't have come at a better time. I was just about to buy a new M&T last night and decided to wait until I got back from my next vacation, but when I saw the deal...

Thanks!

I picked up four GFW books, I now have all that have been released, my GF gonna kill me, I don't think "but it was a sale" will work on her. But then she uses that line all the time.

Oh and as far as the website, it looks great!

Hehe, Kyle do what we married men do . . . don't tell her!!!
And then when you get the books, you stash them in your bookshelf and only pull out one at a time for perusal.

That only works when you don't share a checking account with her. Otherwise, you can kiss your a** goodbye. That's one reason I'm not all over the GFS books right now. I like living with my wife and she'd toss my a** out if I spent any money right now. All I can do is hope that a sell like this come around again, when I have the extra cash to spend.

I do this all the time , and my wife wouldn't know one book from another. To her they all look the same.

One of the first things that turned me off from the Trolls when I first heard about them, was the pathetic website and even worse message boards. I eventually gave C&C a try and love it, but I can imagine how many people turned away as I did but never came back. The new site is absolutely amazing so far. Great work guys!

I want to add my voce to those saying how nice the new site design looks. Well done.

Also, thanks for the sale! I picked up a couple of C&C Player's Handbooks for my players to use (so they don't have to keep stealing mine!).

Question for the trolls; can I pre-order stuff through the sale? I wouldn't mind lining up for the whole Castle Zagyg series at such a price.

Um. No. This is for items in print only. ^_^

Heh, everyone wishes that were possible, but no. If its not printed, its not for sale. Also, if its listed as excluded, its not for sale, so no getting personalized PHBs and M&Ts for $10, though that would rule.

Character Sheet

Post by Ogma »

I've been trying to download the character sheet and I keep getting a nasty error stating "The file is damaged and could not be repaired." What's the scoop on this?

The website makeover IS nice, but have a question. Have been looking for your guidelines regarding artwork submissions but can't locate them. Am assuming they're not up yet? I have the writer guidelines, but was hoping fer the art one.

regards

Welp. At this point it boils down to sending samples to me and/or Davis. And if the style and quality is something TLG likes a project will be found to fit.

Missed the sale!

The new website looks great, but I was offline for about three weeks because of work and missed the sale! $10 hardcovers! I'm a little bummed out.

What browser are you using? Firefox will sometimes fall over when downloading PDFs and all you get is a little stub that Acrobat labels as corrupt. In such cases it's best to download them to your desktop or similar rather than downloading them direct.

If you're not using Firefox, I'll just shut up!

I've had the same problem too. I have tried downloading with IE, MSN Explorer, and Opera. All failed with the message that the file was corrupt.
