Yeah, good point. The cleric would have to knock him out, and at that point a thief or fighter would only have to cut his throat. No need for time-wasting spells like that one.

Although, there's probably some circumstances where this spell could be useful.

Now to ask a related question regarding restoration. A scroll or potion of restoration would work immediately, correct?

Potions take effect immediately, using scrolls is just like casting the spell, except material components are not needed, which would include holy symbols for clerics. Wands also act just like the spell, except no components or somantics are required. So only potions change the casting time of spells to "when consumed".

I would let someone design wands or staves that act immediately.

I believe I asked the same question of Treebore. Based on our conversation, I understood scrolls to have the same casting time as their spells, where as potions worked as soon as they were consumed.

So in the case of Restoration, potions seemed to be the way to go.

Yeah Slimy "no show" kuotoun, at least get me your character sheet if your going to miss game sessions.

A "heads up", or at least an explanation as to why the session was missed, with no "heads up", would also be greatly appreciated.

I'm mostly concerned because you once told me your the kind of player who only misses a game session because the world is ending, your in the hospital, dead, or some similiarly catastrophic reason.

So at least let us know your alive, and hopefully well.

Who would have thought one could defeat so many vampires by gently tickling them with goose feathers?

(Oops-I hope this does not tip off the other groups for an easy victory)

This post regards the next move for the monday group. Because it is a bit "spoilery" for the other groups, I have put it in a slight code. I would recommend other groups do not follow the instructions below and read the post, as it may spoil their enjoyment of their inevitable doom

For the monday group:

1) hilight my coded message with your mouse

2) right click your mouse on the higlighted area

3) Choose "Copy"

4) open a new tab with this webiste here

5) right click the mouse in the box provided. "Paste" the coded message into the box. Click the button

6) To reply. Do the same, but in reverse. Type your message in the box at the site. scramble it. Copy and paste it into your reply here

Kind of like being a spy!

Here is the message. For Your Eyes Only!

I think you mean we need the good bit of luck! Simara's mother told him to stick with being a rug merchant, but no, he had to go off and save the world...

Well, your in trouble then. This isn't a world. This is just a great evil to eradicate and a couple of hundred people to free from a curse, and to ensure others aren't pulled into it.

No I don't, you are correct. I'm just curious as to what do the other RL groups think*?

I love almost all tea except Earl Grey. What is it, oil of bergomet or somesuch that goes into it and gives it that bizarre smell/flavor?

My brother loves the stuff. Me, I'm a "Constant Comment" fan.
