A late start, but I agree a good one. NExt session should go much further since all characters are now worked out and I'll start setting up Open RPG about half an hour before.

Plus my son will no longer host our SKYPE so he'll quit disconnecting us when he shuts down his computer.

"Hammer or nail" sums it up pretty good.

I'll have to remember "Its a rule we're so cool!" when you guys meet up with Madam Eva, the Gypsy Queen.

She was straight from Hell

But you never could tell

Cause you were blinded by her light

She could crack your brain

With magic pain

And turn a paler shade of white

(Well) I was on the free

Just me and me

And just about to sail

When I heard the voice

Said you got a choice

The hammer or the nail

You'll be ridin'

You'll be ridin' on the gypsy

Well I rolled the bones

To see who'd own

My mind and what's within

And it's a given rule

That we're all fools

And need to have a little sin

So I'm ridin'

I've been ridin' on the gypsy

On the gypsy queen

She was straight from Hell

But you never could tell

Cause you were blinded by the light

So she cracked my brain

With magic pain

And turned my left around to right, right

So I'm ridin'

Yes I'm ridin'

I'm still ridin' on the gypsy

On the gypsy queen

SIGN OF THE GYPSY QUEEN

Lightning smokes on the hillrise

Brought the man with the warning light

Shouting loud ";you had better fly";

While the darkness can help you hide

Trouble's comin' without control

No one's stayin' that's got a hope

Hurricane at the very least

In the words of the gypsy queen

Sign of the gypsy queen

Pack your things and leave

Word of a woman who knows

Take all your gold and you go

Get my saddle and tie it on

Western wind who is fast and strong

Jump on back, he's good and long

We'll resist till we reach the dawn

Running seems like the best offense

Staying just don't make any sense

No one could ever stop it now

Show the cards of the gypsy town

Sign of the gypsy queen

Pack your things and leave

Word of a woman who knows

Take all your gold and you go

Shadows movin' without a sound

>From the hold of the sleepless town

Evil seems to be everywhere

Heed the spirit that brought despair

Trouble's comin' without control

No one's stayin' that's got a hope

Hurricane at the very least

In the words of the gypsy queen

Sign of the gypsy queen

Pack your things and leave

Word of a woman who knows

Take all your gold and you go

Sign of the gypsy queen

Pack your things and leave

Word of a woman who knows

Take all your gold and you go

Sign of the gypsy queen

Pack your things and leave

Word of a woman who knows

Take all your gold and you go

Treebore, would it be beneficial for us to post our character sheets here or perhaps have a separate thread?

Thanks.

Here would be good.

Wulf and Slimy,

I had forgotten how much DIO rocks. Plus it got me to listening to Deep Purple and Rainbow too.

You need to specify what kind of protection the wand gives. Right now I am assuming it is Protection from Evil.

Level title from 1E as Tree mentions. I use them to add a little flavor to C&C. There's some discussion about adding them to the CKG.

I've posted my new house rules to the original "player begging on bended knee" thread. This includes my "Runemark" class for you Rigon.

Please review and let me know of any in game rulings I ever did that I may want to add to this document.

Plus let me know anything that is unclear or you have concerns of being too powerful, etc...

Thanks.

Don't forget some potions of restoration, or a scarab of protection like Rigon has

Call me crazy, I just have this feeling we may need stuff like that

Question for any and all:

If a cleric casts the reverse of restoration ~ life drain, does this work against undead?

Thanks.

I would think that casting a negetive energy spell like life drain would help the undead instead of hurting it.

Nope. Restoration itself would be the antithesis of undead.

Yeah, good point. The cleric would have to knock him out, and at that point a thief or fighter would only have to cut his throat. No need for time-wasting spells like that one.

Although, there's probably some circumstances where this spell could be useful.

Now to ask a related question regarding restoration. A scroll or potion of restoration would work immediately, correct?
