New player in OKC

Post by dmrey »

I am trying to learn how to play C&C and would like to contact anyone in OKC who might be willing to show me the ropes - maybe one evening a week for a few weeks. OR - if there are other C&C enthusiasts in the area already playing - can I sit in on a session or two?

Thanks,

Daniel

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

After a long break from online C&C (and after a job loss and internet loss) - I'm inquiring (from the library's internet machines) if there's any C&C players living in OKC.

If it's anyone's fault - it was that the local game shop was hosting the new 4e D&D on Saturday while some of the die-hard Pokemon TCG members in our family were playing in our weekly league. I sat in after Pokemon was over to see how the games were going - and I was reminded that I've already got C&C at home.

I had to go digging around thru all of our stuff until I found my books today - now I just need to figure out where all of my dice have gone(!?)

oh - and I need some players (although I'm going to try to work with those in my family first)

Thanks,

Daniel

Had I seen this post earlier, I'd have said to check out SoonerCon which is in OKC, but it just ended... was over the weekend, unfortunately.

Might talk to one of our newest forum members, Kephrin, he lives in the OKC area.

You would think that after attending pokemon league at the local game store for weeks I would have been aware of and actually attended SoonerCon - but it came and went almost unnoticed (our Pokemon league leader mentioned it as we were talking because she actually had to attend in one of the booths as a library volunteer).

I'll try to contact the other forum member to see if there's any interest.

Thanks everyone -

Daniel
