IRON MAN, baby!

Looks very promising! Even has an actor that can act as Tony. Kind of even looks like his comic version.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

As an Iron Man fan, I've been waiting YEARS for a live action movie.

The amount of press this movie has been giving out for the past 4+ months, better equal a damn good flick. I like the cast for sure, especially Terrance Howard. Looking forward to it.

Son of a B***H, this looks like it could go places. One of my alts in City of Heroes - Omega Fury - was created with this guy in mind; I've got to say that the trailer, at least, has piqued my interest. Kind of nice to see a superhero that doesn't start off with a we-must-save-the-world attitude...hoping that there's a good dust-up with some similarly equipped character at the end. Looking forward to it.

I can't wait to see this. Here is a link to the slightly extended version shown at Comic Con:

Yeah, this looks all kinds of badassery, with Robert Downey playing Tony Stark as he should be portrayed on the big screen. Now someone just needs to hurry up and get me my JLA movie.

Looks like they got it right this time (unlike the last couple Marvel movies). Gonna be a good summer next year.

I wonder how they'll portray the Mandarin in this politically correct day and age where people like my own parents can cause a big uproar. (my parents are Chinese, but I'm full-blooded American on account of being born in America)

Looks like one of the best Marvel movies I've seen so far, that I can think of.

ok, I have to admit, I hate pretty much 95% of the comic book movies out there, but that looked pretty cool...

how can it not when to the tune of sabbath, you're flying circles around the f-22's

Cheers,

J.

Mandarin is in it, to win it. I believe he is the main antagonist in the flick.

It has potential to not suck. If its better than Daredevil, Elektra, and Ghost Rider, than there is still hope for the comic book movie.

According to the director's MySpace page he has hinted that the main villain is Iron Monger played by Jeff Bridges. Mandarin is mentioned/introduced but does not play a major role. They have set this up as a trilogy, with the seeds for the next two movies planted in this one.

My expectations are never high for comic book movies, but the trailer looked good and as long as it's funny and entertaining, it might have a shot at being a good movie.

I know next to nothing about Iron Man (not a comic book kinda guy). Regardless, just from the trailer, this movie gave me goose bumps. It looks damn good!

Yeah, I learned my lesson after Spidey 3 (foolish me was expecting another Spidey 2), but this looks amazing, and if it half as good as the trailer I'll be happy. I've been collecting IM comics since I was in grade school so I'm really looking forward to this.
