Killer Goblin Cave

Post by miller6 »

Hmm...Seems I haven't posted an adventure in a while (just finished an awesome high level 50 page mod that's reserved for publication).

As for posting mods here on the boards, for those interested, I'm well underway with the writing of "Killer Goblin Cave", the 3rd in the Killer Cave Series. Should be finished within the next few days or so.

Actually, "me" has become "we" since the family effort has expanded to include a co-writer who's super-mega-talented. We'll do our best to make more C&C mods available as soon as possible.

Killer Goblin Cave is now complete except for the new pics. I'll post it as soon as my wife Laura finishes digitalizing the artwork. It's slightly longer than the previous Killer Cave adventures (at just over 20 pages) but can still be completed in a 4 hour session (or two at most).

I think you'll like it. The playtesting round was really fun!

Yes, I'm looking forward to it too. Please do a printer friendly version again as well.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

My daughter, Andrea, is digitizing the map for killer goblin cave today...that's the last touch then it'll be posted.

Meanwhile, Killer Orc Cave & Killer Bugbear Cave are now both in the works (amoung other mods, ugh...I need a few clones).

Excellent work! My favorite part? Oddly enough, the pre-gen character section on the last page. Remind sme of the good ol' days of CLassic D&D modules. I can see using those stats and Adventurers Packs for hirelings in my games

Exactly. Couldn't have said it better. I grew up on the classics so I emulate them in my writing style...lots of new ideas with bonus materials included.

Well Brian, you have been elevated in status, or is that level? Anyway, your adventures have now been given their own folder within my C&C folder on my computer. Do you hear the trumpets and horns? Do you see the confetti falling?

Well lets see...Horns I got...if you count my daughters clarinet and the fact that she just started. Confetti is a little harder, but I think I can cover that too...I made my queen size bed into a loft and have my computer desk underneath (my little niche)...so when i'm writing at night and my wife tosses and turns, sometimes dust falls down on my head.
Does that count?

Dust, confetti, they both make a mess, so yes, it counts.

Let me know whatcha think of Fumy's attack maneuver. I got a wicked picture in my head when I wrote that part and in the game it scared the ba-jesus out of the characters. moo-hoo-ha-ha!
