As long as you promise I will not see anything like this

'Tis an abomination to mine eyes!

Don would never have straight hair like that. I always pictured Don as having wild frizzy hard-metal hair.

I got this today and I did even know it, but it comes with a small one-sided head set or if you just want to use your speakers as output, it also came with a clip on mic! Nice.

I'm going to hook it up tonight and test it for video quality. It takes snapshots and video clips.

Did it come with its own software, or does it use the stuff built-in to Winsuck?

Good question, not sure. Nothing is mentioned, but I'll find out soon when I install. I see it works with AIM, Yahoo, and MSN messengers.

Hmm, I do see that I get 30 minutes of free phone calling. I tried a free phone call once before and the sound quality was excellent.

Heck, they should give people like 180 minutes or something like that to get 'em hooked on it.

OK, no winsuck like some of the old webcam software which essentially used netmeeting.

This cam comes only with video capture and picture snapping and a photo manager.

So the cam depends on whatever software one wishes to use for video chat.

So far, so good. USB connectivity and pretty basic video. I hope to record a brief clip tomorrow to take advantage of better lighting and then throw it up on You Tube.

It works well when turn on all the lights, but the overshine on objects is a bit much.
