d20 Inzae Sources

Post by Piperdog »

Are there d20 sourcebooks or modules not currently converted to C&C floating around out there that we could get to flesh the world out more? Or will it be substantially redone so those old sources are outdated? I ran across Bergholt and pondered on getting that and anything else Inzae that may be lurking in the d20 areas of the universe. Anybody know off hand?

You might be able to find the other 2 books in the series after Bergholt I on the internet or eBay. This blurb about Bergholt mentions that there are other books, but doesn't give the names.

Might want to e-mail Steve. He can tell you the names.

I was under the impression that the other two books have yet to see the light of day. I know that all existing d20 Erde/Inzae material is going to be converted (sooner or later)...

We're referring to the early d20 books. It doesn't appear that the Trolls have them anymore, so they may be available elsewhere.

While I know the Trolls are going to convert some of the old stuff, I don't remember reading that they will be converting everything. Did Steve or Davis say that? I'd love to see it happen, that's for sure!

I don't beleive Bergholt II or III was ever released, in any form other then being mentioned in the original By Shadow of Night ~ Bergholt I Sourcebook/Module.

On a side note, the The Troll Dudes were selling a copy of By Shadow of Night at GenCon for a whole friggin' $1.00! It took me forever to find a mint copy, and when I did I can't beleive I picked up one for a single dollar. I love the layout and most of the art in that book too. Very cool.

I think the books are still for sale I completed my collection recently. >>>LINK<<< If there are other books out there I am not aware of them. And I think there wasn't any followups to Bergholt unfortunately.

hehe.... so was I actually. I agree with Omote and don't believe Bergholt II or III was released. There was an interesting thread called the Complete TLG a while back which prompted me to post the following link:
http://home.flash.net/~brenfrow/d20/d20.htm

I find it gives an interesting glimpse at what some of the projects that were being worked on and which were dropped...

As to the C&C conversions, I don't know who said it first, but it does say right on the products section of the TLG site in the Erde (d20) section:

"All these products are promotional sale items. They are designed for the 3.0/d20 system. The whole Rings of Brass Setting is being re-written and amended for the Castles & Crusades RPG. And will be released in the not too distant future."

I can only hope that, when they tackle Bergholt, they will also finish it off.

Did you have a copy of the Fantastic Adventure as well? It's not listed on the page but is listed in their RTF product catalog. It's a great introductory adventure and one of my favorites. It takes place around the Red Marches in Erde and was written by Mac Golden.

Here's a link for it on Noble Knight Games:

Yes I do. I really like it but haven't had a chance to run it yet. I got it when they bundled some of the modules together with the codex.
