Aihrde/Cradle of the World map scale?

Forgive me if the answer is somehere in the folio; it just arrived today, and I haven't spotted it yet.

I see the 1000-mile scale on the broad world map, and was trying to translate that to the two 12"x17" Cradle maps. My measurements were hadly precise, and I got something along the lines of 66 miles to the inch...am I close?

I think it was about 1500 miles across.

Thanks Peter; that's what I was thinking: that the Cradle maps (put together) looked to be 1000 miles north-south and 1500 east-west. A quick estimate with the ruler seemed to be 66 mi/inch. I take it there is no 'official' scale? (Not that there really needs to be!)

Well, thats what I was told about 7 years ago by Steve and Davis when I first asked about the Erde map.

I have by no means read the new folio in detail, but unless they changed their official stance, there is no official scale to the Erde/Airhde cradle maps. The DM/CK decides what they want it to be. Like I chose my scale to be 200 miles per inch.

So unless they give a scale somewhere in the folio, the scale is meant to be decided upon by the CK.

Where did I get this info? From the Foreward in the Codex of Erde.
