Overseas Subscriptions ...
I managed to buy issues 6 & 7 of Volume 3 from my FLGS when I purchased the PHB and M&T. Very good material and I loved the convention blogs, especially the reasoning that Stephen presents for the C&C price point.
Is there anyone in Europe who has taken out a subscription with the Trolls to get The Crusader sent to them?? How did the process go?? Is this even possible??

When I started subscribing with issue #1, you could only do it through Leisure Games. The slightly ad-hoc publication frequency put paid to that though, and I don't think LG are offering subs any more.
At least, they haven't responded to any of my enquiries so far.

Correct ... I bought the PHB, M&T and Crusaders 6 & 7 through Leisure Games recently. I just received a fresh order of PHB, M&T and CK Screen from them for my GM (soon to be CK*).
They couldn't provide a second CK Screen but it turned out to be a bit difficult for him to read so I ended with it When I was looking on the site, there were no subscriptions listed.
*Interesting story here. He runs his own game world called Karsac which has been run for over 25 years using AD&D 1e. (I had to wait 4 years before I got off the waiting list). Anyway, he went into raptures over the PHB and he wants me to provide all possible copies of the Crusader and all downloadable content. Karsac will start again in the new year, with C&C as the system. (RESULT!!!)

Yeah, you would think so, but they've proven to be a bit unreliable up here in Newcastle. We have a Forbidden Planet and a Travelling Man and both stock Castles & Crusades, but I wouldn't lay bets on them getting the Crusader in. The Forbidden Planet in London or Playin' Games in London I could see managing it, but some places are currently unwilling to stock any new 'D20 related' products until the market becomes clearer (i.e. after D&D 4e) or so the guy in Playin' Games told me.
Anyway, I'll be taking a trip into town soon enough, so I guess I will find out. Of course, the relative strength of the dollar to the pound makes things a bit 'touch and go'. Any 3e product I might be foolish enough to order is almost uniformly cheaper ordered from Amazon.com than Amazon.co.uk.

Personally I would not bother with a Crusader before issue 4 if you want any real game content. ITs been steadily better in that regard from issue 4 onward.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Yeah, I have heard that, but I don't think I could bear the four issue gap in my 'collection' in the long term. I might just see about ordering PDFs, but I rather like the idea of owning a print version.

Other places in London to try are Orcs Nest and Leisure Games.
If you're a member of the Phoenix Games Club (see my .sig) then you're entitled to a 10% discount at Playin' Games so long as you produce your membership card (*plug, plug*)

Yeah, I frequent Orc's Nest from time to time, but I haven't been in for an age; might be worth a look. Leisure Games I have heard mentioned from time to time, but I have never been in.

Heh, well I'm down in London from time to time; indeed, I have a standing order for KoDT with Playin' Games and will be in and around from November 1st-6th (though not to attend 'World Wide Dungeons & Dragons Day'). I could probably make the trip up to Finchley, Leisure Games do seem well stocked with Castles & Crusades stuff and the prices seem comparable with what I could get via Amazon.com (though I do have a number of dollars that need using up...)

If you're in London on Sat 1st December, the Phoenix Games Club is at Dragonmeet and I'm running a C&C game there.

It's possible. I will definitely keep it in mind.
I am heading into Newcastle tomorrow, so I am going to pay special attention to the Castles & Crusades sections of Forbidden Planet and Travelling Man.

As it turns out, Leisure Games does offer a subscription service of sorts. This is transcribed from an email I received from them:
"The way we are now handling the Crusader Magazine Subscriptions is the
same as the other magazines we offer.
Basically when you decide to subscribe to the magazine we will take down
your details (name, address, credit/debit card info, etc) and then we
send you each issue as and when we receive it.
At the same time we send you the issue we will also charge your card for
it. This charge is the cover price of the magazine plus 80p (for UK
addresses) postage.
Crusader magazine is currently 1.99 per issue so the total charge would
be 2.79 per issue.
We can either run the subscription for a certain amount of issues or
have an open ended one where we just keep sending you the magazines
until you ask us to stop or your credit/debit card expires and we don't
have updated payment information from you to continue.
If you have any questions, or would like to set up a subscription,
please let me know.
Best wishes,
Angus Abranson

That's pretty cool, thanks for relating that information. I'm in Clapham at the moment, but plan on heading into town tomorrow. Not sure if I will make it as far as Leisure Games, though. My girlfriend is with me and she has a terrific cold, so we'll have to see how she is tomorrow.
I did check out our local Forbidden Planet and Travelling Man last week. Forbidden Planet, despite having more RPG merchandise than the one in London (and considerably less space) had only one Castles & Crusades item on display, the latest Adventure Module from Goodman Games, though it was displayed prominantly. According to the guy behind the counter, they don't keep a rolling stock and simply order in as required. The Travelling Man had a copy of the Player's Handbook (none glossy version, going for 9.99 GBP), Monsters and Treasures (12.99 GBP) and several Adventure Modules (going from 4.99 to 6.99 GBP). No sign of the Crusader in either store.
