License plates for a gamer

Post by CharlieRock »

Earlier today I was at the LGS (getting DCC #19). When we left, Mrs Charlie was in tow, I spotted somebody's license plates in the parking lot read "THACO". I couldn't tell if they used an o or a 0. Anyway, I pointed it out and grinned. Mrs Charlie didn't get it at first, but that was okay.

Someone is driving around town with "THACO" license plates. How cool is that?

That's awesome!

best license plate I've seen that was gamer related, or could be considered gamer related, was outside a movie theatre in Nanaimo, BC. It said "HUZZAH". I took a pic, of course.

Hmmm... THAC0... this gives me ideas for my first vanity plate.

I wish I had a camera on me. I would've took a picture and got it into here.

Aw... too bad. \Well, no worries.

I should see if I can dig up that pic I have. One day I'll find it, I hope.

Well, I'll tell you what. Next time I'm going to the LGS, I'm taking the camera. For just in cases.

NAT 20

ALL 18S

CRITHIT

IMAKETPK

DUNGEON

SIEGECK

When I was in college, I saw one in the student lot that said "KHAZAD".

This was in the early 90's, so I'm sure it was a Tolkien reference and not just an enthusiastic fan of file-sharing networks.
