Stupid Savings Throw question for monsters

Post by anglefish »

I didn't see where it was implicitly stated, but I am assuming a critter's HD is a modifer to their savings throw.

The number of HD yes. For example, a 3d8 critter would have a +3 modifier. It should be mentioned in the first part of the book under HD. I guess it needs to be more explicit. But the initial entry on Dragons makes mention of adding the # of HD to the save roll. Assume it works for all creatures the same way.

That's what I meant.
